My Cousin is getting Married in Maui

So my cousin is getting one of those beautiful Maui Weddings, probably right on the beach. I hope I can make it out there. I have never been to Hawaii and heard that it is very beautiful.
I would also like to try and pick up some surfing if I would have time. I have been able to get up and turn into the wave on a longboard but havent tried anything smaller than 8ft.
Hawaii here I come!
